The countryside surrounding Chianciano is the ideal place for walks, bike rides or enjoyable horse rides.
Chianciano is on the border of the two valleys: Val d'Orcia and Val di Chiana.

The beautiful "Crete" are adorned with the cypress tress, part of the Narural Artistic Park of Val d'Orcia which is home to the charming art towns and little gems like the Giardini di Villa Origo in a landscape context famous in all the world.

In direction of Val di Chiana a nature lover will feel the different colours which expand from the soft rolling hills of the countryside.

Three lakes surround our territory: lake Chiusi with its little piers, lake Montepulciano, an ecological oasis, ideal for bird watching and Lake Trasimeno with its beautiful island and enchanting towns.
